When buying a guitar, you need to make a few choices. Do you want a classical guitar with nylon strings or you are after a steel string acoustic? Do you want a pickup? Do you want a cutaway? (this allows you to play the top frets easier) Are you after a student model or are you after a guitar that you can keep long term? Are you looking for something with a solid top (rather than ply) which will sound better now, and also will improve with time as the timber matures? Are you after a really premium instrument?
